About Me

Are you seeking a therapist with whom you can comfortably share your thoughts and feelings?

My Passion

I’m dedicated to helping adults whose happiness is impacted by life’s challenges, whether they stem from relationships, work, family dynamics, health, finances, or personal growth.

My Story

As a teenager, I often felt lonely and struggled to find a sense of belonging. In my early 20s, I sought short-term counselling to deal with a specific problem, and again around the age of 40 when I faced another challenging period in my life. Both times, I found the sessions immensely helpful in managing my problems and alleviating my suffering.

These transformative experiences led me to believe in the power of counselling and therapy. Inspired by the positive changes I experienced, I dedicated five years to training as a therapist. Through this journey and my subsequent work with clients, I recognised the profound impact that empathic, supportive counselling can have on individuals facing a wide range of life’s challenges.

My Professional Background

I started my psychotherapy training at the Metanoia Institute in London in 2010, culminating in a Diploma in Counselling four years later. Subsequently, I earned a Masters in Psychotherapy from the University of East London.

Throughout my training I worked with diverse clients, addressing both everyday concerns and more profound issues such as anxiety, depression, abuse, psychosis, and eating disorders, particularly during my time at charities like Mind.

Transitioning to private practice in London, I continued my work with adults facing an array of life’s challenges.

How I help people

How it works

Talking aloud can act as a catalyst for self-discovery. This process may help you unravel the layers of your thoughts and feelings, potentially leading to greater clarity and insight into the root of your challenges.

How it can help you

Talking things through, along with my dedication to understanding you, can bring a sense of relief and offer a fresh perspective on your problems. This understanding can provide both a release and a foundation for meaningful change.

Empowerment through self-acceptance

As we explore your concerns together, you may gain a clearer perspective on your challenges and begin to uncover your own inner strength and confidence.
