About Me

Are you seeking a therapist with whom you can comfortably share your thoughts and feelings?

My Passion

I’m dedicated to helping adults whose happiness is affected by the difficulties of having had an emotionally immature, unavailable, or self-centered parent.

My Story

I experienced the struggles of growing up with an emotionally immature parent — one who was self-centred and disinterested in others. Although I excelled academically, forming close relationships proved challenging in adulthood. However, through years of personal therapy, I discovered the transformative power of healing.

Inspired by this journey, I dedicated five years to training as a therapist. During this process and in subsequent work with clients, I recognised the enduring impact of an emotionally immature parent on a person’s life. This realisation fueled my commitment to specialising in helping individuals who share this experience.

My Professional Background

I started my psychotherapy training at the Metanoia Institute in London in 2010, culminating in a Diploma in Counselling four years later. Subsequently, I earned a Masters in Psychotherapy from the University of East London.

Throughout my training I worked with diverse clients, addressing everyday concerns and more profound issues such as anxiety, depression, abuse, psychosis, and eating disorders, particularly during my time at charities like Mind.

Transitioning to private practice in London, I continued my work with adults facing an array of challenges, often rooted in their formative years.
